Job Description Overview
The Structural Building team is currently looking for a motivated and skilled Intermediate Structural Engineer to support the growth of the local office. This position is based out of our Vancouver office and involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and other materials.
- Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports, and structural inspections.
- Supervise the execution of structural work during construction.
- Ensure all engineering work meets industry quality standards and complies with the National Building Code and British Columbia Building Code.
- Coordinate projects that involve structural design with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, architectural, and process.
- Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships.
