Overview

The RIH IM team provides extensive inpatient and outpatient services, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment for physicians who thrive on meaningful, varied clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care for internal medicine MRP patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide care to the Step Down/High Acuity unit for complex and acute patients requiring higher level monitoring.
• Offer support to other specialties through an internal medicine consultative service.
• Participate in extensive hospital based clinics, including rapid access internal medicine clinic, perioperative medicine service, diabetes clinic, exercise stress tests, myocardial perfusion imaging, vascular disease risk factor modification clinic, and ECG interpretation.
• Attend a shared private outpatient clinic to provide community support for patients requiring longer‑term follow‑up.
