Position Summary

Working under the supervision of the Production and Inventory Manager, the Inventory Planner is responsible for tactical planning to support the Demand Flow production process, Kanban management, monitoring inventory levels to objectives, reconciling parts shortages, timely disposition of rejected material, significant interaction with Operations, reviewing MRP and placing orders with assigned vendors. Must be willing to cross‑train in various areas of the department as required.

Essential Functions

  • Work within ISO 9002 and Sarbanes Oxley guidelines
  • Become an active participant and contributor to the continuous improvements process at Knoll
  • Work in a team environment to coordinate materials, textiles, production groups to meet customer requirements
