IP Lawyer

We are seeking a highly-skilled and commercially-aware IP Lawyer to lead the protection and management of the organisations intellectual property assets in the cybersecurity and IT services domain. The role encompasses strategic oversight of IP strategy and policy, hands‑on execution of filings, enforcement, licensing and ensuring the businesss technology and brand assets are safeguarded and monetised appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive IP strategy aligned with business goals: map asset types (trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, software code) by geography and class, and manage annual filing/renewal road‑maps.

Conduct IP clearance and due‑diligence searches for trademarks, patents, designs, software modules and domains; advise on go/no‑go decisions for new product launches or branding initiatives.
