Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure basic network devices (routers, switches, access points)
- Perform network cabling (UTP, fiber) and patch panel management
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues (LAN, Wi‑Fi, internet access)
- Assist with IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic VLANs
- Monitor network status and report incidents
- Replace faulty hardware and perform basic maintenance
- Support end users and escale complex issues to engineers
- Maintain inventory and network documentation
Required Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and OSI model
- LAN and WLAN fundamentals
- Router and switch configuration (basic level)
- Network troubleshooting (ping, traceroute, cable testing)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux networking
Common Equipment & Tools
