Job Description
As a Technology Lead, you will work on maintenance and support of critical applications for leading Global Financial Services.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6+ years of experience in Applications Support in Unix, SQL & Unix Scripting.
Knowledge with Java/Python.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Hands‐on experience in SQL:
Know how to write PL/SQL statements.
Good understanding of joins.
Good understanding of performance tuning of queries.
Knowledge of commands to check DB health and query debugging.
Experience in Unix:
Know advanced shell commands such as substitution, disk‐space check and cleaning, awk/sed, no‐hup, script execution.
Be able to tail logs and search for specific patterns, errors, stack traces.
Know basic shell scripting to automate repeated manual tasks such as running SQL for report generation or automating repeated user queries.
