Journeyman Welder- SIL

Essential:

Reliable, hard-working, safety conscious, team player, ability to work a flexible schedule and long days.

Journeyman Welder Requirement’s:

CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support.

Successful candidates are required to have personal reliable transportation, valid driver’s license

Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing which would be swab or urine depending on site requirements.

Computer skills, including but not limited to Excel, word, and outlook

Candidates must successfully complete Sil Industrial Minerals Orientation, Site Specific Orientation as well as any other fit for work testing.

Journeyman Welder Responsibilities:

Welding repairs on structural steel components and maintenance repairs

Weld, fit, cut, grind and finish steel and aluminum

Ensure all installations and repairs are completed in a timely manner
