Introduction
A leading company in the mining industry are looking to recruit a Junior Accountant at their Head Office based in Centurion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise Creditors Clerk and review accuracy of information captured, including:
- Accounts payable batches
- Cash batches
- Age analysis reports
- Month-end procedures
- Support Accountant with various weekly and monthly financial reports
- Ensure timely and accurate financial data management and reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom Accounting graduate with 2 to 4 years experience as Junior Accountant
- OR newly qualified SAIPA Accountant (advantageous) with 1 to 2 years post-article experience
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- Basic knowledge of Accounting standards
