Junior Automation and Controls Specialist to support the maintenance and optimization of automation equipment at Rosebel Gold Mines. Under the supervision of the Automation and Controls Specialist, you will assist in troubleshooting and provide technical support to the Automation and Instrumentation technicians, ensuring efficient operations of our control systems. Main Responsibilities Assist with IP network configuration, layout, and fault analysis. Maintain fiber and copper networks, documentation, and system drawings. Configure DeviceNet hardware and software. Maintain PLC networks, hardware, and software. Support PLC panel building, wiring layout, and design. Backup and restore local HMI systems. Use diagnostic tools to monitor instrumentation performance and highlight issues. Navigate and support the Aveva System Platform. Maintain and troubleshoot the Fike fire server-based system.
