  Job Description 
 We are looking for a Junior Category Specialistwithin the BESIX Procurement Department based in Brussels. 
 You will report and assist a Global Category manager Steel Structures in driving and implementing strategic planning and category management in your own perimeter. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. Together with your manager you will learn and be responsible for sourcing, negotiation and overall supplier management for large volumes and/or complex categories in the construction industry.
  Key responsibilities: 
 Support development and implementation on Procurement strategy on designated categories and provide input to the Global Category Manager when developing the purchasing plan.
 Be responsible for strategic sourcing (SSM) on designated categories with focus on TCO optimization.
