Junior Construction Estimator – Civil Construction
KLS Earthworks & Environmental is seeking a Junior Construction Estimator to join our team in Calgary. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to build a career in civil construction estimating and gain hands‑on experience in earthworks and underground construction within a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Reporting to the Estimating team, the Junior Construction Estimator supports the preparation of accurate quantity take‑offs and estimates while learning industry best practices from experienced professionals. This position plays an important role in supporting KLS’s estimating function and offers strong development opportunities for someone eager to grow their technical and analytical skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct 3D surfaces to determine earthworks quantities
- Complete quantity take‑offs using tools such as Agtek, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD
