Role Overview

As a Junior Data Scientist for the Modelling and Best Practices Competency Centre within the Actuarial Department, you will support the use of data science techniques to enhance actuarial modelling. Working within MBP as a central, collaborative team, you will partner closely with data scientists, actuaries, BI teams, and other analytical stakeholders across the organization, contributing to the development and maintenance of automated pipelines, analytical models, and supporting data assets used for modelling. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on exposure to production data science in a regulated insurance environment and opportunities to grow your skills in modelling, data engineering, and analytics operations.
