 Leading battery manufacturer seeks junior industrial engineer. Help drive lean manufacturing processes in the business.

  What the person must be able to do: 
 This role is in the South African motor manufacturing industry. Specifically the manufacture of car batteries. All duties would take place in this context. You must be familiar with the following:
 Continuous improvement and how it works in manufacturing
 Quality metrics and monitoring systems
 TQM processes
 Lean, Continuous Improvement and “right first time”
 Reducing defect rates and defect causes
 Improving quality while reducing manufacturing costs
 Driving quality as a culture throughout the business
