Junior Network Controller
FLS is responsible for ensuring seamless, 24/7 operational continuity across Amadeus services in the Americas. The team focuses on incident detection, rapid recovery, coordination, and escalation to keep critical platforms running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Recover from incidents as quickly as possible.
- Monitor the network status.
- Prepare and perform changes that are within the scope of Network Operations’ responsibilities.
- Monitor changes made by other teams (e.g., Engineering, Firewall Group, Capacity groups), validate them, and closely monitor the changed environment afterward.
- Handle equipment faults ensuring that hardware is repaired or replaced.
- Report and follow up on issues with services from external providers.
- Create, review and update operational procedures (OPROCs).
- Optimize and keep the Network Operation knowledge database (OPROCs) up to date. <...
