Junior Quantity Surveyor
Junior QS vacancy for a qualified QS with 1 to 2 years experience to work in Orania, Free State.
As a Quantity Surveyor (QS) in South Africa, your primary responsibility will be to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will ensure that these projects are completed within budget and to the client’s specifications. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be proficient in Afrikaans and willing to relocate as necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Measurement of Building Quantities: Accurately measure building quantities for bill preparation and final accounts.
