The Key Expert for Regional Threat Assessment, Component 1, will be responsible for promoting activities focusing on continuing the development of the IDEAL (Evaluation of the Threat of Transnational Organised Crime in Latin America) instrument, both for police/security and penitentiary in Latin America.
He/she will be directed by the Deputy Director of Component 1, will be working in association with the others key experts of the Component 1, with the Thematic Programme Manager and will be supported by a project officer.
The Key Expert for Regional Threat Assessment will be assigned with the following tasks
- Identify the demands of the beneficiary countries about human beings and cultural goods illicit markets. Evaluate the relevance of these demands (political, sustainability, impact and high institutional priority) and its coherence with the objectives of the Programme. Validate the demands which fulfil the above-mentioned criteria;
