Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: St Josephs Nursing Home, Killorglin Co. Kerry
Reporting to: Director of Nursing and the Head Chef
Purpose of Job: Assist in the daily running of the kitchen following current legislation and Nazareth House policies and procedures.
Be aware of and cater for complex dietary requirements, allergies, food sensitivities and modified diets.

Please note this is a part time position averaging approximately 22 hours per fortnight. There may be additional shifts offered during busy periods and to cover annual leave/ staff illness.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 Assist kitchen staff in providing a high standard of catering to meet the needs of Residents and Staff.
 Prepare and cook excellent quality and wholesome meals as well as home baking.
