We are currently looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Llanidloes to assist the Canteen Manager with all tasks within the canteen to ensure a high‑quality service to all staff across the site.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00am - 14:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Manager in their absence and accept responsibility for day‑to‑day activities.
- Ordering of stock, including raising/receipting purchase orders on SAP during Manager holidays or absence.
- Continuously review menus.
- Preparing and cooking food.
- Assist with on‑site events such as summer BBQs and staff Christmas dinners.
- Participate in on‑site engagement activities such as Free Breakfast Fridays and charity fundraising.
- Assist with stock taking and product rotation.
- Serve food and beverages.
- Collect monies and operate the cash till.
