Kitchenhands

The Elcho Group is looking for an experienced Kitchenhand to join their team in Galiwinku, NT.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in food preparation – select, wash, prep ingredients in readiness for busy service periods
2. Follow kitchen directions from Cook and other kitchen staff with preparation of meals
3. Unpacking and storing supplies in cold room, refrigerators and other storage areas
4. Ensure stock rotation to maintain freshness and food safety.
5. Safely defrost and freeze down food as per food safety guidelines
6. Ensuring kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
7. Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen
