Kiwifruit Thinner

Description : This is full time fixed term seasonal work. It begins in early to mid October and finishes in the middle of December.

After flowering in our orchards has finished, you use your hands to remove small fruit from the kiwifruit vines and apple trees to allow the remaining fruit to grow bigger.

Requirements : This is physical work. Your arms are over your head when working in the kiwifruit and being very tall or very short is a disadvantage. You may be required to work on orchard ladders in the apples.

Benefits : Hourly rates for kiwifruit thinning. Other tasks might be contract or piecework rates.

Start Date: The exact start date depends upon plant growth.
