Lab Specialist

Illumina Laboratory Services (ILS) is seeking a Lab Specialist to join our Singapore-based clinical genomics laboratory. This is a hands‑on, laboratory‑based role at the cutting edge of clinical genomics, supporting the delivery of high‑quality genomic testing to patients across the region.

In this role, you will perform a range of laboratory techniques in compliance with ISO15189 quality standards, including DNA extraction, DNA quantification, library preparation, and next‑generation sequencing using the NovaSeqXPlus platform. You will work with a combination of automated workflows (e.g., HamiltonSTAR systems) and manual bench‑top assays, gaining broad exposure to modern clinical laboratory operations. You will also play an important role in maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
