Overview

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes and linens in hotels, hospitals, laundromats, or other facilities. They ensure cleanliness and quality control while maintaining equipment and assisting customers if required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, clothes, and other fabrics.
• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or missing items and take appropriate action.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
• Track laundry inventory and report supply needs.
• Assist customers with self-service laundry operations (if applicable).
