Lead Control Systems Engineer
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) – 3 days per week on-site. Salary: £Neg (Enquire for details).
MERITUS are working with a leading engineering and systems integration organisation based in Glasgow. They are looking for a Lead Control Systems Software Engineer to take a key role in delivering complex, high-impact projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of control system software solutions, primarily using Siemens PLC platforms.
- Oversee full project lifecycle delivery, including requirements capture, design, coding, testing, and commissioning.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within project teams.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and technical alignment.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and on-site commissioning activities.
