About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Lead, Environment, the Lead, Environment is responsible for the management and execution of compliance, regulatory permitting, and internal standards at our Cardinal River mine. This role will also be responsible for embedding continuous improvement by utilizing and adapting best practices and advancing those practices. There is potential opportunity to support EVR’s other closure property, Bullmoose mine.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
- Manage and support a team focused on compliance, environment program execution, and field compliance monitoring, including seasonal co‑op employees.
- Manage and support all current and new environmental program activities, including Fisheries, Wildlife, Biomonitoring, and Surface Water Quality and Quantity monitoring.
