Lead Mechanical Engineer (Mining and Minerals)

We are recruiting a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely reviews of project mechanical drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
• Perform accurate engineering design and calculations
• Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes
• Identify scope variations and prepare relevant documentation accordingly
• Liaise with and provide professional support to the drafting team in the preparation of drawing deliverables
• Develop technical documentation including scopes of work and specifications using relevant industry standards and guidelines
• Produce accurate engineering lists including but not limited to equipment, lubrication, spares, valves, pipe line and special work
