**Job Description Summary**
The GE Vernova Hydro Service engineering team works on the mechanical components of hydroelectric turbines and generators for retrofit projects, from design, installation, and commissioning until the end of the warranty period. The service department wants to develop its market in Norway in the field of generator rehabilitation projects.
Under the responsibility of the manager of (FRO — Generator), the FRO engineer provides technical support to the customer, from the execution of the project to the post-warranty period, mainly on transactional projects, including maintenance and repairs, inspections and diagnostics of equipment, equipment inspections and diagnostics, spare parts potentially on simple modernization projects in accordance with the safety of people, costs, and respect of the quality requirement and schedule.
