GC Solar is proud to partner with the Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) to offer a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme for the Occupational Certificate: Solar Photovoltaic Standalone Service Technician (NQF Level 5) .

This learnership is designed for employed individuals with practical experience in solar PV installation or maintenance who wish to formalise and certify their skills. Successful candidates will undergo a structured RPL process, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

Requirements Currently employed in a solar PV or related electrical/technical role. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant practical experience. Basic understanding of solar PV systems and electrical principles. Grade 12 / Matric certificate (advantageous). Willingness to commit to the full duration of the learnership.
