Level 2 Teaching Assistant - special needs

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs? Do you have a desire to support and empower young learners to achieve their full potential? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the mixed primary with secondary special needs school in Peterborough. The Academy works with children and young people who have a diagnosis of ASD.

About the role:

The successful learning assistant will support the Class Teacher to carry out a range of activities to promote learning and development. This will include working on a one to basis and in small groups as well as giving support to children with additional needs who may require physical intervention on occasion.

You will be:

• keen to learn with a positive outlook

• able to work on your own initiative

• experienced in working with children
