Liaison Engineer II, Electrical (North Vancouver)

Responsibilities

• Develop full understanding of construction standards, electrical systems, and material specifications and bills of material in accordance with company electrical engineering and design strategies and customer requirements, and develop understanding of cable pulling, company electrical standards, collaborating closely with design engineers to resolve production issues.
• Attend manufacturing shops and provide field support as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Planning and Production Control to tackle production issues in a technically acceptable manner while maintaining cost and schedule objectives.
• Develop and/or review design documents in order to achieve customer, Classification Society and other regulatory approval.
• Provide support to suppliers and subcontractors related to construction activities to achieve cost and schedule performance.
