At Contour, we've proven product-market fit and grown from a scrappy startup to a high-growth scale-up. Thousands of students, parents, and tutors now live inside our ecosystem every day, across three brands and a growing number of states. The one thing that has not kept pace is how we talk to them.
So far, our communications have run through a conveyor belt of six or more people, with a week's notice needed for a single send. The result is what most of the tutoring category settles for: generic, commercially driven, and out of touch with where a student actually is in their year. We are done with that. We are building a real lifecycle function, and we want one person to own it.
