The Lifeguard is primarily responsible for maintaining order and enforcing the pool’s facility rules and regulations.
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Provide lifeguard services to operate swimming pools with bath houses.

Follow and enforce all facility rules, regulations and safety procedures, and establish and maintain cooperative-working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Deal tactfully and courteously with customers and provide the highest quality customer service.

Observe swimming area to ensure safety of customers. Perform water rescue, standard first aid and CPR procedures and techniques.

Ensure the swimming area is open to customers at scheduled times and that only authorized persons are admitted to the area.
