Job Description
Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm.
Salary: £33,437.64 per annum
This is a hands-on, shop-floor role leading a production line of 3–10 operatives within a fast-paced, chilled environment working with products such as milk, cheese, juices, yoghurts and mousses.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading and motivating your team to meet daily production targets
Supporting and actively participating in production activities
Maximising efficiency across time, labour and equipment
Completing production checks and ensuring product quality meets specifications
Maintaining traceability, hygiene, GMP and safety standards
Monitoring waste and driving continuous improvement
Communicating issues and managing machinery faults
Assisting with training, development and cover during absence/holidays
