Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a professional staff of three to six Engineers and administers an annual operating budget of one million dollars. Prepares, analyzes, and presents special reports on service, manpower, line‑haul, capital equipment, and overall expenses, reflecting current operations as well as future forecasts and projections. Plans and directs expansion of service within South America, including coordinating manpower; developing systems, projects, and programs to optimize service, reduce or control operating expenses, increase revenue, and provide customer satisfaction. Provides strategic link with Region, International, and US Domestic management to ensure that South America’s programs support and are compatible with Corporate strategic planning.
