Primary Purpose of the Position
- Keep Safety Standards in WH/Plant Operations & Layout.
- Responsible for implementation of all PEC subcommittees in warehouse areas.
- Manage the inbound flow of products (FG, RMs, MRO & Molds) from port arrival, custom, transportation, storage & internal plant supply for production consumption.
- Manage the outbound flow of products (FG, RMs, MRO & Molds) from plant WH, transportation, custom & ocean carriers.
- Owner of 3PL, Transportation (Drayage & Local distribution) & Custom Broker contracts, manage the correct compliance of the contract based on GYR Standards and Expectations.
- Close control over the logistics costs, reporting and communicating any changes vs AOP or estimates.
- Implement continues improvements to the process looking efficiency and cost saving initiatives.
