The main purpose of the Logistics Coordinator role is to support the Services Manager in the day-to-day activities related to logistics, transport, inventory control and communication with subcontractors and Oil & Gas operators.
The Logistics Coordinator, sitting in Vallourec Stavanger, coordinates movements of OCTG (Casings, Tubings and related accessories) from the four locations (bases) we operate in Norway (Tananger, Mongstad, Kristiansund, Floro).
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for inventory movements in Kabal:
- Receive Items according to POD’s in Kabal.
- Related to Master Enquiry process.
- Modification ticket movements
- Kabal/ System21 movements (Location move & Available stock transfer)
- Keep Kabal up-to-date for the status of Modification Tickets and Transport/transfer external.
- Visual control of receipt of stock prior to entry in Kabal (in Risavika).
