Basic Requirements:
o Diploma or GED
o Min 2 years machine shop exp operating mills or lathes
o Basic knowledge of operating precision tools, machining methods and metal cutting
o Ability to read and understand blueprints
o Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Experience (NOT required):
o Experience with manual and CNC operation
o Exp with coordinate measuring machines
o MORE than 2 years machining experience
o Trade school technical certificate
Duties:
o Working to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions
o Selecting speeds and feeds according to type of material and finish requirements
o Utilizing methods used to hold and fixture work
o Using a variety of precision measuring instruments, inspecting in process or finished parts
