Role Overview
TEKsystems is seeking a Mainframe Infrastructure (Z/OS System Programming) Consultant to support one of our public sector clients. This role will serve as a subject matter expert providing oversight and operational support for large mainframe environments. We are looking for a consultant who has experience in mainframe migration, data center transformation, disaster recovery, and ongoing operational support for mainframe services. This position requires deep experience in mainframe infrastructure, data center service models, and hardware and software migration programs.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide advanced operational and technical support for enterprise mainframe platforms, including associated system software and utilities.
+ Ensure uninterrupted day-to-day mainframe operations while meeting defined service performance and availability targets.
+ Design, plan, and support the deployment of new mainframe hardware environments.
