Maintenance Engineer

At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Foundry team.

This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield. Our foundry produces the largest and most technically demanding castings in the World, up to 15 metres long, 8.5 metres in diameter and up to 350 tonnes in weight. We have state of the art in-house inspection facilities and a multi-skilled NDT team, offering all conventional surface and volumetric inspection. We also have coded Welders that also undertake casting repairs, fabrication and cladding services.

Specifically, the Foundry Maintenance Team is responsible for keeping the foundry equipment, tools, and facilities in safe, reliable, and efficient working condition through preventive and reactive maintenance.
