Maintenance Team Member & Operational Support

To work as part of a team, to ensure that the fleet is serviced and maintained in a safe, efficient and cost‑effective manner, whilst constantly seeking to improve quality. We'll look to you for well‑structured duties and responsibilities described below.

Responsibilities

• Support depot operations including train acceptance, dispatch, shunting, route setting, and movement of units across site
• Carry out servicing activities such as fuelling, sanding, system top‑ups, fuel readings, and water system maintenance
• Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance, including basic mechanical and electrical tasks and component changes
• Carry out primary and secondary fault finding, ensuring accurate reporting and follow‑up of defects
• Maintain high depot standards through cleaning, housekeeping, and general site duties
