**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Mammography Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures that may apply ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology in patients. Regulates the equipment used to expose the various image receptors, completes the appropriate paperwork, and computer applications. Organizes and prepares the images for interpretation by the radiologist.
