We're recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temp‑to‑perm basis to join a growing business based on the Birmingham Business Park. This is a hands‑on role supporting the day‑to‑day finance function, with strong exposure to operational reporting and senior stakeholders, and a clear opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Production of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments
Variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast
Preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational managers
Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end close duties
Cashflow reporting and support with working capital management
Analysis of operational and logistics costs to support decision‑making
Supporting year‑end and audit processes as required
