Job Summary
The Material Engineer is responsible in ensuring that all materials used in the project is compliant with the project specifications and approved by all relevant authorities as bound necessary.
Job Duties
- Review and Approval of the Contractors proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
- Preparation of Material Engineers Daily Diary.
- General oversight of the Contractors daily activities including works assignments on-site performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractors operations.
- Attend factory visits suppliers plant inspection as required.
- Follow up testing and approvals from the relevant authorities.
- Review of Contractors testing requests and subsequent completed reports.
- Review and Approval of the Contractors Submissions as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
