Material Forming Engineer

Overview

Are you a hands‑on engineering expert with real‑world experience in materials forming?

We’re looking for a specialist who will be responsible for coordination and delivery of materials characterisation and data analysis, completion of press shop trial activities to support our material approval process and support of material‑related quality concern resolution and prevention.

Its is critical that you can maintain the link between engineering, supply base and our manufacturing facilities, driving to not only deliver, but to improve our standards & processes in a passionate and collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordination, delivery, assessment and reporting of press trials to assess new materials against formability criteria and qualify them for use within JLR Press Shops.
