Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Elmhurst Service Group Leader, the Material Handler is an entry level training position which ultimately will lead to being assigned to a work cell at the Service Center for the purpose of supporting the Cell Lead Operator in processing Customer Orders in an efficient and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ During an employee’s tenure at this position, they shall receive training as a material handler.
+ Follows direction of “trainer”.
+ Provides “feedback” to trainer to assess competency level.
+ Adheres to all safety procedures & rules.
+ Adheres to all quality procedures at the facility.
+ Processes orders in an effective and efficient manner.
+ Operates equipment to ensure the highest quality standard, while maintaining an effective productivity rate.
