Reporting to the Materials Manager within the Material Support Department, the Materials Supervisor will be responsible for the direct first-level supervision of unionized Stores Controllers working to provide effective and efficient logistical support to Aerospace production programs.
- Work planning, assigning and directing - plan and organize daily tasks & activities of Materiel department personnel to include the scheduling of overtime and shift work as required;
- Training and orientation of personnel on procedures, processes and associated activity including material handling equipment;
- Material control including receipt, storage, shipping, kitting and issue;
- Working with program coordinators to determine, confirm and action material requirements;
- Liaison at various levels within internal departments including Production, customer representatives and external organizations;
