The main purpose of the maternity support worker role is to offer the day 5 newborn bloodspot and hearing screening to newborn babies, and to support mothers’ health and wellbeing postnatally across Gloucestershire.
Additional working pattern details: 3 x shifts allocated per 7‑day week.
Main duties of the job
The maternity support workers will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary maternity team, delivering safe, compassionate, and competent care to women and their families both in hospital and community settings.
