Mechanical Design Engineer

The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be delivering mechanical design solutions and taking ownership of delivery. You will explore and test the problem space thoroughly, before generating hardware solutions and be prepared to lead the presentation of these ideas at design reviews and group critiques drawing on more senior member’s knowledge as required.

Day-to-day, this role is to support our growing hydrodynamic model testing capability where bespoke models are designed, developed, manufactured to tight tolerances and tested in our world-class facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reviews: This role will lead on formal design reviews and be able to explain the thinking behind concepts at these reviews with confidence, presenting at design critique sessions and chairing engineering reviews with Manufacturing and Procurement communities
