Mechanical Designer

Our client is an established manufacturer of packaging machinery with over 40 years of experience. They are currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their team on a 1-3 month contract. Role and Responsibilities: Create and revise Autodesk Inventor models, AutoCAD drawings, BOM’s, and other engineering documentation as required. Participate in design and drawing reviews, shop floor troubleshooting, prototype builds and documentation preparation. Create/maintain documents required to support the design effort such as open issues lists, pre-design checklists, machine layouts etc. Update older CE marking related files and create new ones to certify machines as CE marked Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working in Machine Design.
