Title: Mechanical Designer/Technologist
Location: St. Catharines
Pay: 80k to 100k per year
TES is currently looking for a Mechanical Designer/Technologist (3 months contract to Permanent) in Niagara region.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed design calculations and analysis of mechanical equipment for the Steel Industry.
- Development of mechanical layouts using 2D/3D CAD.
- Produce layout relevant deliverables such as design criteria, design drawings and reports.
- Prepare proposals, feasibility studies, reports, and preliminary designs. Prepare detailed design calculations, conceptual layouts, and sketches.
- Develop initial concepts into final designs, which would include preparing detail drawings, assemblies, bills of material, etc.
- Work with vendors to review designs and selection of components.
- Support Production to troubleshoot assembly and fabrication problems.
