Mechanical Site Engineer – BC Hydro (12 Month Contract | Likely Extension)

We’re currently supporting BC Hydro on a Mechanical Site Engineer (E4) contract opportunity based in Campbell River, BC.

This role is focused on commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and field support activities related to large gate and hoist systems within a heavy industrial / hydroelectric environment.

Location: Campbell River, BC | Hybrid

Contract: 12 month contract, likely extension

Rate: $88–98/hr INC ($65–80/hr T4)

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting commissioning and field engineering activities for large gates and hoist systems
• Troubleshooting instrumentation and wire rope hoist systems
• Supporting precision alignment and testing activities
